As soon as the holidays are over, there’s only one thing on our mind: Leatherpride Belgium – the first fetish event of 2016. Over the past few years Leatherpride Belgium has grown immensely. It’s why the X-Awards committee gave the event the maximum score possible in the category of Fetish Event of the Year 2015. And it’s clear the audience agrees!

With five host hotels, Leatherpride has reserved a huge selection of rooms for visitors to Antwerp. Organiser Jeroen Van Lievenoogen believes this is the best way to ensure a good rate for visitors who come from far and wide. In 2015, Leatherpride offered three hotels which all sold out. The five hotels selected for the 2016 edition are already filling, so be quick.

Leatherpride 2016 promises to break the records with ticket sales already double what they were for 2015. The main Rage party is expected to sell out well in advance.
For the first time Leatherpride will raise money for the We Are One Foundation. The Foundation helps people in the fetish community and sponsors organisations and events including the Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence, Mr Leather Belgium, Mr Puppy Europe, and the University of Ghent’s Unravel HIV project. Visitors will be able to contribute in various ways. There’s a charity breakfast, the Boots’ Wheel of Fortune, a silent auction, and many other initiatives.
The main event of the weekend is again Darklands. What started out as a small market with ten vendors has grown exponentially. In 2016, Darklands will feature more than 30 fetish brands, artists, and much, much more. The programme has grown and will be split between the main stage and a new market stage in the vendor area.

Another returning event at Darklands is Camp K9 – the place to be for puppies and their handlers. The Dogs Bollox provides a huge playground, including a ball pool. Various puppy activities will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, with the election of Mr Puppy Europe as the grand finale.
The Darklands entertainment programme includes a fetish quiz, election of Mr Leather Belgium, the X-Awards live show, various porn acts, bondage classes, and more. Make sure you don’t miss the most anticipated fetish event of 2016!
